About Fit&Well: Who we are and how to contact us



Fit&Well is for everyone, regardless of age, gender and fitness levels. Our mission is simple: to help people achieve healthier, happier living. You’ll find a range of beginner-friendly workout ideas on our site alongside in-depth features on fitness, nutrition and wellbeing. ( )

We place a particular emphasis on exercising at home at your own pace. We also recognise that people come to exercise for a range of benefits, so we feature workouts that can help with everything from building strength to improving balance and flexibility.( )

Jonathan is the Editor of Fit&Well and Coach, setting the editorial strategy and ensuring high editorial standards across both websites. He became the Editor of Fit&Well in 2022, but has been covering health and fitness with Coach since 2016. He began his career in journalism in 2008 at Time Out, first in New York and then in London. Jonathan began running while working at Coach and has completed the London Marathon twice. He is an advocate of active travel and commutes by bike. ( )

Ruth is the fitness editor for Fit&Well and Coach. She joined the team in 2022, having previously worked as a commissioning editor for titles across Future Publishing's portfolio including SpaceLive Science and Tom's Guide. Originally a print journalist at a national newspaper, she has worked in media since 2015. She's a keen runner, yogi and Pilates enthusiast, who enjoys a meditative stretching session as much as a sweaty dumbbell workout. more...
